THE BRIEF:
“Colourful and Fun Content Creation”
Ignite Body Care create handmade, vegan body butters and scrubs. They have a range of delicious fragrances and love lots of colours. They reached out as they wanted to bring their fragrances to life with some fun, bold and colourful content creation. Product photos that reflect the gourmet fragrances such as chocolate, coffee, sweets and fruit. I was so excited about this, because bringing fragrances to life is one of my favourite types of content creation. One thing I LOVED about Ignite’s Instagram page is their gorgeous, creamy textures. I was so excited to get creative with the textures and really capture their essence in some colourful content creation.
As soon as I received the scrubs, body butters and beard scrubs I was BLOWN away by the scents and textures. I always wait for my clients’ products to arrive before I create the shot list as I love to get a sense of the look and feel and smell of each product so I can accurately bring it to life. These scents were RICH, creamy and bold, so I knew the photos had to reflect that.

What do you think of this super fun colourful content creation project?
This shoot required a LOT of planning. Since each photo was for a unique fragrance, we had to really think about what props would best convey that scent through imagery.
For a bit of context, each photo took between 30-60 minutes to set up, style, shoot and get right. So this shoot was a SUPER long one over 2 days, even though the deliverables were just 15 photos.
