THE BRIEF:
“Bold Lifestyle Photos for our Clay Mask Brand”
I was so excited when Amy reached out to me to shoot the second round of photos for her EPIC green thermal clay mask. Amy is a visionary and has developed such a fun bright bold brand, I am obsessed. For the shoot this time, she wanted to focus more on lifestyle photos rather than just product photos. Check out the first shoot here. I love working with models. I firmly believe that adding a human element to your product photography makes a huge difference. Why? Because it is so much easier for them to build a connection with your brand. Humans connect with humans.
Amy wanted a mix of backdrop photos with lifestyle photos (in a bathroom, on the couch, in a bed etc). We found the perfect location – Viggos Rest in Alkimos. We were able to set up a few backdrops and use their epic house to capture the more “homey” photos.

This shoot was hectic, I won’t lie. We had a short timeframe and a HUGE shot list to get through. It pays to be organized which I why I love to spend a good chunk of time planning out all of my shoots before the big day. This gives us an indication of times, models, props, backdrops, outfits etc ahead of the shoot. I like to print out a runsheet and have a few copies for everyone on the day too.
